My First Love...

Hi Folks...

Ever since I was a kid, I have been facinated by cars and bikes. My love for them evolved when I used to accompany my dad to our shop. Luckily for me, our shop is located in Chanakya Puri and that is a central hub where one can see a lot of exotic cars. To cut short a long story, l am an auto freak...A BIG ONE!!! I can tell you whats wrong in the engine than with myself. I can understand the language of nuts and bolts. I can speak non stop about cars and bikes. Sometimes I guess I was born with a Piston and a set of rings in my hand. Whenever I get the chance, I make it a point to test drive a car. The moment I floor the accelerator.... INSTANT NIRVANA!!! There is something about engines that always calms me down. Whenever I feel low, I simply grab the keys and burn some rubber. These are some of the cars that I am in love with.

Anniversary Celebrations...

Hi Guys...



Just squeezed out some time to catch up with the anniversary celebrations. This month my blog crossed its first milestone. This blog is just an extension of my better half that I have lost in my real world and I try to nourish it from time to time with my memories and moments of happiness and pain that I shared with you all. I would like to thank all of you who cared to walk a few steps with me. I would cherish those memories forever. To be honest, this blog gives me another chance to live my life the way I want it. Away from the scum of this world that I otherwise deal with in my normal routine. No blood, no conspiracy, no hypocrisy and no hatred. Just some peace of mind and soul. This blog is my heaven where I indulge in the nostalgia of all the good times I have spent here. That would be all for the moment. Time to head back to the real world. ADIEUS...

The Fast And The Furious..... and the Crashes!!!

STATUTORY WARNING: This certainly is not for those who have weak hearts...

Sometimes a high speed sprint does not work for me. Brakes dont always do full justice in killing the speeds that I achieve, especially when you are running on drums and not discs. I am a speed freak but the price I pay at times is very high. Lots of stiches and allergy to anesthesia does not leave any other option but to enjoy the Nirvana at its best. I just love the feeling of metal piercing my flesh and the warm blood flowing down my face :)) Out of the 7-10 odd crashes that I have met with, this one was the worst. The highest speed I have had an accident was at 110kmph. The average being around 75kmph. Luckily my friend had a camera phone and clicked this shot while I was being examined at the site for major wounds on my head and torso. No one recognised me for almost two weeks till the time the swelling did not subside. So its my sincere request to all that you please drive at safe speeds. Even after eight years of driving I sometimes do make mistakes and at lightning fast speeds, even a slight miscalculation can put you in a life and death situation. But those of you who feed on high dosage of Adrenalin and Testosterone like me, are more welcome to dig High-Octane(Speed97) fuels and bask in the glory of your own blood. Long live our two stroke motors. Amen...
